Frequency Live Africa started as one night: a full-scale concert built from nothing, where we owned everything, the talent, the stage, the sound, the sponsors backing it, the crowd walking through the door. Running a production at that size means getting a thousand small decisions right, or the whole night falls apart in front of everyone.
Doing that, year after year, taught us the parts that actually matter. How to read a room before it fills. How to bring the right sponsor on board without the night ever feeling like a billboard. How to book an artist who's right for the occasion, not just available for it. How to make a big production feel effortless from where the crowd is standing.
That's the experience we now carry into everything smaller than a festival, too: weekly club nights, private concerts, brand-backed shows. The same instincts that run one big stage, curating the talent, bringing the right partners on board, and building a calendar that feels just as considered on a Tuesday as it does on the biggest night of the year.

Frequency Live Africa is a full-scale festival, not a one-off concert: multiple stages, a full day of programming, and an entire production built from the ground up. Talent buying, production and stage design run end to end under one team, with two more flagship concepts already in development, each built to anchor its market the same way.
02 / Frequency : The Symphony
Frequency: The Symphony takes the artists you already know and puts a full live band and a live orchestra behind them, in a room built for the occasion. It's the premium tier of the Frequency calendar: a seated, VIP-grade experience where every arrangement is built specifically for this stage, not just plugged in from the original recording. Fewer seats, higher production value, an entirely different kind of night.
03 / Isigqi
Isigqi hands the night to the DJs. No live band, no script, just the right selectors reading a room built for afropop, amapiano and everything else moving right now. It's less a concert and more a feeling: dancefloor-first, sound-system-led, curated the same way we curate everything else, with the artists who actually know how to hold a crowd from the first record to the last.

We build and manage a curated roster of DJs, bands, solo artists and songwriters, and place them into recurring weekly residencies at partner venues. One relationship replaces a dozen bookings, nights fill on a fixed calendar, and partners earn on guaranteed fees or a share of the revenue. We already work with clubs countrywide on a weekly basis, curating their nights and talent bookings end to end.

Think of it as an outsourced entertainment department for your venue — a dedicated programming team, without the cost or complexity of building one in-house.
Every stage is run by CoMotion, with someone from our team on-site for every programmed night — so your team can focus on hospitality and service while we focus on the entertainment. Partnerships start with a minimum three-month term and a walkthrough of your space, your calendar goals and the concepts that fit best.
